Mike Swinden

Councillor

Mike has lived in Cononley since 1997 and until 2006 was a member of Cononley Playing Fields Committee.  He wanted to become a Parish Councillor as he has recently retired and now has time to get more involved again with the village community and to try to improve things for its inhabitants.  Mike is particularly keen to bring to the Parish Council the skills he developed in his career as a lawyer.

Mike enjoys singing (in The Cononley Singers and Skipton Choral Society), is an avid cricket fan, and enjoys jogging,  hill walking, cycling and playing racketball.
