The Allotments

See Cononley Grow

Cononley Parish Council owns land off Meadow Croft and School Lane which is used for allotments.  At present, there are 52 full-sized allotments; 16 mini allotments and 6 greenhouse spaces over the two sites.

It is expected that tenants abide by the terms of their tenancy agreement by keeping their plots well maintained and used.  The Allotment Committee which currently comprises of all the Parish Councillors inspects the plots several times per year.

The day-to-day running of the sites is overseen by the Clerk, with the Lengthsman undertaking the maintenance work, such as grass cutting and litter picking.

Only dogs belonging to allotment holders are allowed on the allotments.

You can read about plans for the allotments in the Parish Council's Allotment Strategy 2015.

For all enquiries about our allotments please Email the Clerk

The Allotments also have a Facebook Group called Cononley Allotments and Growers Society
