All residents are welcome at our quarterly litter picks that are organised by Cononley Parish Council and Cleaner Green Cononley.  We meet at 10.30am at the bus shelter on a Saturday or Sunday and pick litter for about an hour throughout the village, including residential streets, community areas and local roads.

 

A small grant from Craven Communities Together in 2024 enabled us to purchase equipment, including a range of litter pickers, bag hoops and Hi-Viz waistcoats that suit both small and tall volunteers!

 

Litter Pick dates are published in the newsletter, on the noticeboard or the Parish Council's Facebook page.  They're a great way of getting out in the fresh air, being active and meeting new people - whilst helping to keep our village clean and tidy.
