New to the village or just wanting to get to know like minded ladies?

Cononley WI meets at the village Institute on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30pm and finish around 9:30pm. Meetings usually involve a guest speaker for the first half, with a break for tea/coffee/biscuits and a natter. We then have a business meeting which updates everyone with what is going on, not only in our village WI, but the national WI too.

Guest speakers have, in the past, included a past contestant from the Great British Sewing Bee, a professional Baker, the art of Millinery, Living and working at Windsor Castle, an evening of song and dance with a professional guitarist/singer, belly dancing, through to a Lieutenant Colonel of the British Army - so quite an eclectic mix!
In addition to that, we have second hand clothes/accessories/homeware sales to raise money for charity, craft evenings, parties, lunches, trips out and we even go on cruises!
You can be guaranteed friendship, laughter and support.
We’d love to see you. Why not try us out for a £5 guest fee with no obligation to join? If you would like more information or would simply like to walk into a meeting with someone, please don’t hesitate to ring Julie Cawood (President) on 07802 807815 or Elaine Shoesmith (Secretary & Treasurer) on 07584 210473
