The group started in 2020 during lockdown as a Facebook page to enable local residents to share posts about local wildlife. Coming out of lockdown, a steering committee was created and the group was formalised. The aim of the group is to promote knowledge of wildlife in the area, to protect and record it. With the help of volunteers, we have developed the Pinfold into a wildlife habitat and manage it on behalf of the Parish Council. We undertake other projects in the area such as annual planting of spring bulbs in the churchyard.

We always welcome volunteers who can assist us in any way.

The group is currently run by Maeve Dracup and Ruth Parker aided by a number of volunteers.
